From my other diary, because I'm too lazy to type anything original here about it:
Where do I begin?
Yesterday was my first Mother's Day. It was pretty fresh - went out to dinner last night at the Melting Pot - I swear, that's my favorite restaurant ever. I fon-due due due'd until I couldn't fondue anymore. Chocolate covered bananas. Crosseh: rain, rose petals, silk sheets, Barry White [or Exies] and chocolate covered bananas afterward. Hell. Yeah.
For the entree, you get bread and you can dip it in different kinds of cheese. Of course, you can't eat too much of that, because bread fills you up. Then, for the actual meal, I ordered one of the meat platters, and you dunk it in this nice sesame seed batter and you get your choice of sauces to dip the meat in once it's done cooking in the little pot. Just spear the raw meat, dunk it in the batter, fry it up, and eat. Completely faboo! Loved the shrimp and the beef, didn't like the chicken too much. Maybe because I eat so much of it at home. And then of course, there's dessert. Chocolate. Chocolate. Hella chocolate. You get pound cake, marshmallows, bananas, strawberries and cheesecake. And you dunk that in the chocolate. I asked for another little dish of bananas because gawdDAMN that was good. *smiles*
It was nice to be out for once with another adult and not have baby noise punctuating every sentence. *blinks*
That was my first Mother's Day.
My birthday was last Thursday, didn't do much special, hung out with the people I love and goofed off - the usual things.

There's not a lot going on, and I've got ramen noodles to finish. Later, all.
